WARNING / Honest Review I’ve been listening to KSR ever since Calipari left Kentucky Basketball, and living in Washington State I’ve heard countless stories about KSBar—fans showing up, listening to the show live, and making it an experience. Over the last year and a half, it became a bucket list item for me: the next time I came back to Kentucky to visit family, I was going to bring my son, eat lunch, and finally watch the show in person. Earlier this summer I was worried I might miss out because of the remodel, but luckily my trip lined up with the grand re-opening. I made it by on Wednesday, the second day open, and I was genuinely excited to try the food and hear the guys live. I brought my 8-year-old son, and we sat back away from the main booth so he wouldn’t disturb the broadcast. That’s where reality set in. From our seats, I couldn’t hear Ryan or Drew, and the live experience wasn’t nearly as engaging as listening on the radio—especially since callers and Shannon the Dude add so much to the show. Service started right at 11:00, and I told my server I wasn’t in a hurry. Unfortunately, management had her covering both inside and outside tables, and it was clear she was overwhelmed. Requests were missed, and I eventually had to ask other servers for help. For a second day of reopening, the planning and support from management just wasn’t there. As for the food: disappointing. I had high hopes after hearing about the GFS partnership, new menu items, and the focus on consistency. I was especially excited to try the Noche Linda smashed burger—but it came out dry and cold. My son’s chicken tenders were hot (a small win), but the boneless wings were a miss: inconsistent sizes, woody texture in some pieces, and a hot sauce that tasted straight from a plastic bottle. The cheese logs—hyped on the show—were just okay, but the marinara was poor. I’m giving 5 stars only because I don’t want to hurt a local business I respect, but in reality the service and food bot

Fun place to watch games! Patrons cheer, service is good and bar fair is decent. Prices were reasonable too!

The food was fantastic. It's always awesome being in a place that have like minded people, great food, and will definitely be back. Another update, went again and it was fanatic. Our server EMMA was great as well! Killing it!

This is another nice place for beer and old guys like the ancient guys in the Old Guys Pub Crawl. I don't remember where all these photos go but if it isn't the correct one for this place the correct one will appear on some other bar's review, so don't sweat it. Have a beer and chill. All is good. Save your money for retirement.

Really cool place to eat and watch some sports. I'm sure if you come for a UK game the a5mosphere is much more lively, but the waits for us weren't long, seated instantly, food was good, although slightly pricey. One big thing for me was that their fries had a different taste than others that put their fries above most other places. Great place, maybe I'll go watch a show there soon.

Arrived a few hours before tip off and they said wait time around an hour. It only took 40 minutes. I ordered smoked wings and potato wedges, wife ordered smash burger and fries. Food was excellent!! I'm very peculiar on wings but these were smoked to perfection and wife loved the smashburger. Great waitress and environment.... only fault was there were 8 tv's in my viewing area and 6 had the same game on. I had to get up and check score of Ark-Aub game on a TV facing the other way. But we will definitely be back next time we make the trip for a game at Rupp

As a Wildcats fan, I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite sports bar in the Lexington area. A perfect setting to watch all the UK football/basketball games and any teams for that matter. Huge big screen tv's, video walls, an excellent sound system, amazing food, drinks, and service too. You can't go wrong with their famous Cheese Logs appetizer and delicious Catfish Sandwich/Platter. We come here anytime we're in town for a game. Kudos to KSBar and Go Big Blue!! 😋😻

If you’re a UK fan of any kind, this is a must for your bucket list. The atmosphere, the food, and the location are all top-notch. Being able to pregame here and then get bused to the game is a huge plus. Even if you’re from out of town rooting for the opposing team, you’ll still want to experience this true Kentucky flavor. The drink list is extensive, and the staff really know how to keep the energy up. I’ll be coming here every time I’m in Lexington!

KSBar and Grille delivers every time. I stop in on every trip to Lexington. I listen to KSR often so this place feels like a home base for fans. You always see people who follow the show and it gives the space a strong local energy. The food hits the mark. The new menu is tight and worth working through. The wings stay the best in town. They keep the quality high and the service stays steady. KSBar and Grille is an easy choice when I am in Lexington. I appreciate the team and look forward to my next visit.
